Super Chargers [SUC] vs [WUMBO] Wumbologists
GPS has practiced against WUMBO on this map enough times to see they are a tough match-up for this map. Water needs to break in a new team and I expect mistakes to be made. Overall WUMBO will prevail with superior defense and tricky offense maneuvers. 2-1 WUMBO.
Sunday School Gangsters [SSG] vs [SDC] Stardust Crusaders
We also had some practice time against SSG though never with key player Dragon. Obviously a team with Dragon and DS has great potential, but it was starting to look bad with their third player being a mystery. Then came Alpha with a sudden surge in skill. He has played very impressive over the last week and I think they finally have that last peace of the puzzle. For this reason I will go with SSG 1-0-2.

The Draft
Round 1
1) Alt_Stab[$30] nominates Dragon. (DemonSphere[$14] acquires Dragon for $16)
I have Alt_Stab listed for support and he would wisely begin the draft going for an offense player. Why not start with the highest rated? Dragon's stock is high and he is dearly wanted by almost all captains. I predict Dragon to be one of the highest cost players in this draft. He will go at $16 to DemonSphere who wisely outbids Alt_Stab.
2) Rude[$13] nominates and acquires Tai for $17.
Back to back championship nominations. Why not? Rude is determined to win this and outbids all captains getting Tai for the highest cost of the draft at $17.
3) Ralphis[$17] nominates and acquires Jwarrier for $13.
I believe Ralphis starts with targeting a defensive player. We played quite a few games together in priv and I feel I might be a target of his.
4) Zakken[$19] nominates and acquires IdeIdoom for $11.
Zakken has a great relationship with Ide and they play fantastic together. I have Ide listed as 3 star support, when coupled with Zakken his rating could spike upwards. Ide played well in last season but I feel the other captains let Zakken get him without to much of a fight, but some captains do up his stock to cost Zakken some extra dollars.
5) DemonSphere[$14] nominates DevastatioN. (Water[$15] acquires DevestatioN for $15)
Dev is a player that is well known for being a dominating. Will rust be a factor? I don't think the captains care as an all out bid war results in DemonSphere being out bid at $15 cost to Water[$15].
6) Water[$6] nominates and acquires Denzoa for $9.
Water who just stole Dev from DS looks to grab an offense player to complete his circle and secretly aims to acquire his brother for a solid backup. Denzoa a player most people cannot stand goes quietly to Water at a steal rate of $9.
Round 2
7) Water[$0] nominates and acquires Tor for $6.
Explained above.
8. DemonSphere[$14] nominates Wazzup. (Alt_Stab[$15] acquires Wazzup for $15)
Looking for a solid wall for middle he aims towards the best support player left available. Alt_Stab grabs his first player by outbidding DS for $15 pulling the same tactic as Water. Alt_Stab knows he will have to adjust his position but it was a good draft pick.
9) Zakken[$13] nominates and acquires im1hpu0 for $6.
Zakken needs an offense player and has 2/3 players from last season. Does he repeat the team? No. His respect for Legion has dipped and leads him to look to another source for offense this season. He targets and acquires im1hpu0 for $6.
10) Ralphis[$9] nominates and acquires Xenaero for $8.
Looking for a support player he puts a bid in to an old friend. Xenaero goes fairly easy to Ralphis for $8.
11) Rude[$13] nominates and acquires Yorick for $7.
Rude also needing a support player grabs Yorick who played well last season for $7.
12) Alt_Stab[$2] nominates and acquires Legion for $13.
Deciding to target a good offense player Stab aims for Legion and outbids the other captains who at this point are more conservative. He wins legion for $13.
Round 3
13) Alt_Stab[$2] nominates Starrk. (Zakken[$0] acquires Starrk for $13)
Left with only $2 to spare Alt_Stab makes a play for Starrk. The result is chaos. DS needing a good player quickly bids $8 eliminating rude and stab's chances. Ralphis ups to $9, Zakken goes all in at $13. After a long pause DS folds and Zakken acquires Starrk in an unexpected bid war.
14) Rude[$5] nominates and acquires Shift for $1.
Rude finishes his team with an uncontested acquisition of Shift for $1.
15) Ralphis[$9] nominates HumanBones. (DS[$4] acquires HumanBones for $10)
Ralphis nominates HumanBones for his last pick but DS quickly outbids him and acquires Bones for $10.
16) DemonSphere[$3] nominates and acquires dingdang for $1.
