As the second WDL season is nearing its completion, there is this cooldown period where a majority of players become inactive, while others just vanish completely until the next WDL season comes around, and that is if they come back at all. Everybody who is not having their first league experience in this season knows what I'm talking about. It is a generally dislikable time, since the scarce people that still want to get something going will rarely get what they're looking for. This not only frustrates such people, but it also compromises gatherings of interest for future seasons.
With that said, I propose that, during the off-season, we set up a mostly fixed time on Saturday (or another high-activity day of the community's choosing) every week for the lot of us to group together and play some high-quality and long-lasting priv. Perhaps with a properly set up time for this weekly event, we could get decent amounts of people to keep priv alive and even better, draw more interest in the league from people during this period. Any thoughts on this?

Alright, jokes aside, I agree on having some kind of activity after the WDL series to keep doom alive and not go ham and be utterly destroyed from inactivity. Perhaps have some of Soul's 1-day CTF tourney on the weekends or on such an active date for everyone. Why just have 2 teams go head to head in CTF, screw that, lets have some 3-way CTF! Tired of CTF? Lets do some TDM tournaments or sessions. How about some 3-TDM matches or 4-TDM. Tired of competitive scenery? Lets have some co-op/survival sessions. Point is to keep activity up.

After pondering for a while, I arbitrarily decided for our first scheduled priv session to take place this Saturday, at 7:30 PM EDT. I'm fairly sure most of you people who aren't out partying all night (*cough* Tai *cough*) will be able to attend at that time, so I look forward to it! Unless glaring issues come up concerning the time, we'll probably stick with 7:30 PM for good.

Bump! We seem to be having some issues gathering people to priv, and now that the sign-up period is open, it is very important that we organize a few lively privs to show the community what we can do! That exposure is only paramount to our success as a league. So I decided to schedule two priv sessions for the upcoming weekend, one on Saturday, June 13th @ 8:30 PM EDT and one on Sunday, June 14th @ 6:00 PM EDT. If you guys have any (reasonable) objections to the times in particular, just let me know in this thread.
