Super Chargers vs The Broomstick Warriors

I haven't seen much out of TBW, so it's going to be hard for me to really gauge how this match ultimately ends up, Josh and Dev I know will do really well on comms, and i'm sure that they can make something work out. I know Josh can time items, however i'm not aware of how persistent he is to continously pursue the item once giving out the timing (item's up in x amount of time, be aware, etc...)

Having practiced with SUC and conditioning them to a different playstyle that I feel they wouldn't have adapted to otherwise, I feel very confident in them and I think they will use that momentum to their advantage going forward.

SUC 2 - 1 TBW

Sexual Panthers vs Steel Ball Runners

I haven't seen anything out of SXP so again this will be hard to gauge, I've witnesseed SBR and all I can really say about them is that they are hot mess. I'm sure they can figure something out, but as of right now it's not showing....

SXP 2 - 1 SBR

Ô Blésq Blom vs Giant Pea Shooters

This match is a toss up to me, both teams are strong on paper and it's going to purely come down to synergy. I have faith in bruno(infer) being able to synergize better with his team and clutching it out, and i look for this to be a great match.

BQB 2 - 1 GPS

Tai's Only Fans vs Rip N Tear

I've witnessed both teams practice, and based off of what I'm seeing I have to say that this is going to be game of the week for me. I'm favoring RIP because I think they're going to have more synergy and coordination moving into the game but TOF definitely has the power to pressure RIP into playing a more safer route which might overwhelm them enough. Having said that I'm still going to place my money on RIP here, they have been putting in the hard work and I believe they will reap their benefits this week.

RIP 2 - 1 TOF

Whoops I'm late... rip my predictions for SBR vs SUC... Sorry!!!

DS v TOF
While my initial thoughts here that TOF would easily take the money, i've practiced with DS; They show a lot of potential, and I think it's possible if they continue to figure things out... however it's the beginning of the season, and I have to go with my gut on what feels right...

TOF 2 - 1 DS

RIP vs BW
I have watched RIP play, and I've felt out BW... All I can say is that RIP has had a strong showing and BW has felt a little lack luster. It's week one and I'm sure that as we progress we will see teams develop more. But given what I'm feeling...

RIP 2 - 0 BW

GPS vs SXP
Match of the week in my opinion (SUC vs SBR was actually another great showing) but we really get to see how strong both of these teams are and how well they coordinate together. It's a toss up for me, I have no idea. GPS sounds so good on paper, but it's hard to see them actually meshing well. SXP I know has great synergy between dragon and bones, but making their third work is a completely different story... I predict a tie.

GPS 1 - 1 -1 SXP

PEE vs BSK
I would really like to see BSK win this game, I believe that they are very capable of doing so but over confidence could be the death of Zakken against a rookie captain such as Razor. If Razor's full team actually plays, they will bring a lot of heavy frag power to the field on this frag oriented map. I believe to contest this Zakken should practice with Dosu this week. He might find success with the skullrush/ourhero combo, but Dosu has shown heavy frag performances in past seasons and I think it would be wise to utilize that as a means to maintain map dominance. Turska/Dranzer are heavy fraggers, and I've seen a little heavy fragging out of razor at times. I believe this map focuses around out fragging and plays out like a tug of war match. I think PEE on paper will be able to out frag BSK and clutch it specifically due to power, but I wouldn't be surprised at all if I saw BSK take this as I think they are very capable of contesting that power with their own given the right amount of practice. I'm going with the upset because I think Zakken will try hard enough to make it work.

PEE 1 - 2 BSK

TPT vs SUC
This is going to be a crazy match. I feel that Starrk might help provide more frag power for TPT, but Dastan might provide more efficency as a runner; Both are viable options. SUC's team looks to have a comparable fragging ability to TPT, but that idea could also be dependent on what position each player is in. Souler might not be able to provide enough fragging power if he runs; He might not have the experience to frag while trying to move efficiently towards the flag or out of the base as some of us might feel. If he can identify when to utilize his fragging power to back up his runner and rotate when he's next in line for the flag; I think SUC can see a lot of success here. However, I think TPT already has complete awareness of how to go about this map. I also think they have more flexibility/options given their team. I think they will adapt to SUC's play style if Tai decides to make good decisions.

TPT 2-1 SUC

SXP vs GPS

SXP blew my mind last week, and they definitely have exceeded my expectations. However when we look at last week's map and it plays immensely different than the other maps this season. I think the map this week follows a very simple forward grindfest where out fragging is all that is necessary to contain control and momentum. Weeks 1 and 2 we saw the same sort of map and SXP seems to fluster on those types of maps. Bones, Rude and Tony are great players and fraggers; I've seen spectacular fragging play out of every one of them. I am more familar with Devastation and Denzoa though, and that fragging combo is scary. I believe SXP can see a lot of success here with rude and tony rotating mid/o and bones on D. If bones decides to follow a rotation strategy when he has offensive pressure and communicates properly to his team, I think they can overwhelm GPS; They will need all the extra aggression they can get to penetrate GPS. Stab is a good runner, I think that he lacks the frag power the most out of everyone here; But being a runner, all that's necessary is making the right kills to make your break through. I believe SXP can make things happen, however SXP has saw a lot of failure on fraggy maps where GPS hasn't. I'd like to see SXP steal this, but I'm leaning towards the Denzoa/Devastation combo over Bones/Rude on paper; I think that will edge it for GPS

SXP 1-2 GPS

QMP vs PEE

I can't lie in saying that after week one I didn't buy into the idea that PEE was never going to see any chance of hope and they were easily going to see an 0-5 season. Their last performance showed exactly what everyone has been saying, their line up consists of all playoff tier players and if coordinated are capable and good enough to do damage. I think PEE might have the advantage of having a better third than QMP; However, I think the D'Sparil/Dragon combination is better than the razor/turska or dranzer/turska combo anyway you slice it. QMP has shown a lot of promise and I definitely am looking at them to fight for this win. I think the map will heavily favor the teams that practices the most this week, fueling Quantum's power that will be too overwhelming for the never practice enthusiasts in 3 games.

QMP 2-1 PEE

TPT vs GPS

GPS coming in with the #1 seed vs a TPT placed at #5. This game will be more interesting than those numbers show, as I feel this will be the first match we get to see GPS play a game against an established team. GPS has had strong showings with their communication and defense. Their communication might be the advantage they need over TPT; But I feel GPS also plays a little bit too conservatively at times, which might allow TPT to punish them as that's what they're best at expoliting. This is game of the week for me, and I wanna say if TPT actually tries they can pull it out with their chaotic aggression over GPS in 3 very close games.

TPT 2-1 GPS

SUC vs BSK

I think if Zakken has any chance at bringing it back, it would be now. He just faced the #1 seeded team in the league last week and showed signs of progress. His team is still flourishing and needs to invest more time than the average team to fully understand their roles. I feel that Zakken is doing a good job at his position, but doesn't practice enough with the right lineups to fully establish the team synergy. I've seen BSK work really well as a team, they can without a question contend if they were all on the same page and worked together more. How the team plays this next week is solely dependent on if Zakken builds chemistry with his team and start figuring out a way to get them all to cooperate in helping each other. If Zakken can condition his team to take care of each other's roles when they are rotating forward and assert when to be aggressive so that they are playing more as a team rather than all of BSK just playing their position; Then I believe he can find success. SUC is a really aggressive team with an team oriented style at defense that will shut down any caps coming from BSK trying to run without backup. SUC will be able to use communication to their advantage and capitalize on support for captures and defense more than BSK will as they already have a lot of synergy together having already played the entire last season together. Ralphis already has it figured out, I'd love to see Zakken rise to the occasion; I think he is very capable of winning this game and making his team into playoffs with the rest. But, I'm giving the game to SUC until I see if Zakken really wants it.

SUC 2-1
