PEE vs BSK

Both teams looking to bounce back from defeats this week, including PEE last week being without their captain Razor cause reasons. On paper, I think PEE has better fragging power on a pretty grindy map, while BSK with the right lineup can possibly be shifty enough to offset PEE's fragging prowess. Also, BSK has been practicing much more and I think have a better idea of how to tackle this map, so I'll go with them in a narrow win.

BSK 2-1

SXP vs GPS

SXP may be rounding into form this season after putting it to BST last week, while GPS is recovering from their defeat to TPT (oh hi). I think SXP is slightly more diverse than GPS, and that will play to SXP's advantage depending on how they decide to matchup on positions. Thus, I think SXP squeaks this one out in 3 and starts announcing themselves as a legit team.

SXP 2-0-1

BST vs QMP

A game to watch for sure. QMP's coming off an impressive victory to PEE considering QMP was also playing with their assumed 4th. Now they face BST, not at all happy with the defeat to SXP after starting their season 2-0. As I may have said before, I think BST's one of the more diverse teams in the league this season, and even Map07 is a little fraggier than last week, I think that will serve them well, especially if it's true that QMP won't be at full strength. So that said, I have to go with BST to bounce back this week in a big way.

BST 2-0

TPT vs SUC

GPS vs BSK

Even though it was against a team clearly not ready, I like how GPS looked in Week 1. BSK has to do a lot to , in comparison, make up for their defeat against BST. I actually think this map fits both teams pretty well, so I'll predict GPS in a close one cause I think they have a LITTLE more fragging power.

GPS 2-1

PEE vs SXP

SXP is coming off a hard fought loss to SUC, and despite their defeat I think their ability was clearly on display. In comparison....well, let's just see if PEE's very best actually shows up this week, since anything short will be easy pickings for SXP.

SXP 2-0

SUC vs QMP

Easily the game of the week (apart from mine lol). On paper, I think these teams are evenly matched, and I think their performances from Week 1 speak for themselves on how potent they can be. Just off their overall experience (since the map itself is brand new), I have to side with SUC here, but an upset by no means would surprise me.

SUC 2-1

BST vs TPT

SXP vs SUC

A classic matchup of Ralphis/Bones for sure, with familiar pairing (Bones/Rude + Ralphis/JWarrier) that strike fear into any opponent. Wouldn't surprise me if this is a close match, but I think SXP will be slightly craftier than SUC and that will make the difference.

SXP 2-0

BSK vs BST

I'm not gonna pretend I really think this match is in doubt, but I do wanna see how BSK does with Starrk, who apparently hasn't practiced much, if at all. Overall tho, I think BST is a very solid team with 3 guys who are well-rounded and can probably play any position on this map. I'm happy to be proven wrong, but I think BST rolls easy.

BST 2-0

GPS vs PEE

You know what? I think we all know who probably should win, but a certain someone wants to underestimate my power so um I dunno. For PEE, we have a rookie captain in Razor looking to prove he really can hang with the big boys and a crafty runner (a good fit for a map like this), and then Dranzer and Turk who are a good fragging combo, and have been around the block for a while. IFFF they play the map correctly (and Dranzer keeps his head on straight), they could absolutely be a problem for GPS, as established as their team is (shoutout to fellow GDA champ Denz!!). I think GPS should be prepared for a long fight. And while I'm at it, props to Razor for taking the reins as a captain when many pussied out elected not to.

GPS 2-1 (I'm not THAT petty)

TPT vs QMP

See ya Saturday:
