WEEK 1 - MAP07 ZDCTF07 (JUL 7 - JUL 13) - Results
The first week of the WDL didn't pull any punches as three games on map07 went into grindmode with a wide variation of outcomes. Unexpectedly, every possible way to get a point (or not) in the standings was achieved in the first week. Summaries and stats below:

The Mall Cops [TMC] vs SupeRBots [SUPER]
The Mall Cops (DemonSphere, Reckless, Shane) put up what may have been the most impressive performance of the season thus far as they opened with a 2 round victory over the
SupeRBots (Rude, Capodecima, Intoxicate). TMC won both rounds with a 2-0 score, three of which were clean captures by Shane (who is the current league leader with 3 scores). SupeR took both rounds to 10 minutes but had a tough time generating any offense, often being stuffed in mid by the frag heavy TMC. The Mall Cops end up grabbing 4 points for the 2-round victory and take the lead in the league standings for week 1.

Adderall Drunk Drivers [ADD] vs Stardust Crusaders [SDC]
An intense game that had very little offense to speak of, the
Adderall Drunk Drivers (Water, Dragon, Alt_Stab) and
Stardust Crusaders (Zakken, Legion, Yorick) had a 3-round, 30 minute slobberknocker that ended with no flags scored. Both teams continuously stuffed mid with insanely high frag counts and each player breaking, or almost breaking, 10000 total damage. Both squads were disappointed to come away with a tie but can rest knowing that they each received 2 points and get to share the middle of the league's standings.

Super Chargers [SUC] vs Shaq Fu [SHQ]
Perhaps the most exciting game of the week, the
Super Chargers (Ralphis, RottKing, Starrk) and
Shaq Fu (Tony, Wazzup, nub_hat) also went 30 minutes in the second of Sunday night's double header. The first round featured a flag standoff over 8 minutes long by Ralphis and Tony, with no decision. The second round picked up quickly for SHQ as Tony scored a pickup capture early in the round. However, SUC battled back and scored a flag of their own in the waning moments to send the game into round 3 all tied up. Despite Wazzup's domination, RottKing stepped up and exploded in round 3 with an even frag ratio and two critical scores that helped put SUC over for the three round win. SUC netted 3 points in the standings and SHQ netted 1.
